Apologies to the easily offended if my post below is upsetting. It was meant
to be a private message to Johnny, not a post.

Johnny,

and when it's on a II or III, you've got the ultimate pocketable P&S,
everything the Nikon 28ti isn't :=)

Went to see Tori Amos the other week, they wouldn't let cameras in. I
stuffed the loaded II body in my underwear (being careful not to let my
balls drop into the lens mount), and put the 28 in my pocket. I assumed my
flaming pink persona as we got in line to be admitted. The security gorillas
frisked me, and thankfully their homophobic tendencies kept the II body
undetected. The lens wasn't so lucky.

"That, honey? Oh yeah, It's my magnifying glass that I use to look at stamps
and wild flowers"
:=)

Rock and roll with the kooky redhead with tri-x at 3200. 1/20 @ f2.8. The
horizontal angle of view drawn in permanent marker on the top plate
eliminates the need for a v/f.
The only thing that sucks is the long processing time (yawn).

best of light.

Yeah, what a great lens. The 35 Summilux of the Canon LTM range :-). Like
the Summilux, it glows and glows, and has a great 'roundness'.

Also, it is miniscule. Put it on the M4-P and it doesn't need a finder...you
can put it on a Canon 7, too, as the entire v/f image is smack on 28 even
tho the frame lines are 35.

My epoxied Canon-7 and the 28/2.8 is the camera/lens combination I used for
all the rock n roll stuff -- got knocked out of my hands a few times in the
squash at the front, but no harm done and I didn't faint from fear of damage
either.
