I've seen HDTV shot with HDTV cameras and projected with HDTV projectors, and it
looked better than film.  And that was several years ago.

VHS letterboxed versions of _Titanic_ don't look as good as theater prints, but
that doesn't mean that film is not suited to the making of movies like
_Titanic_.
