If it mounted Leica M lenses, every Konica or Minolta sold would represent potential revenue for Leica. Most M6 owners invest far more in lenses than in the camera body itself. - -- Anthony - ----------------------------------------------------------------------- It's pretty unlikely that Konica or whatever other M mount rangefinder manufacturer wouldn't also create a line of lenses of their own, perhaps with more features (AE, or maybe even evaluative metering) than Leica lenses, and probably cheaper than Leica lenses. If people are willing to buy a cheaper, non-Leica made rangefinder body that is almost as good (if not better) as an M body, then they may very well be ready to buy non-Leica made lenses that are not up to the Leica lenses in optical quality, but much cheaper in price.
