What about the risk of getting it fogged by x-rays? And how do you keep it all
refrigerated?

It depends on where you are, but at least in a city like Paris, they seem to be
on every street corner.

You drop it off on the way to some monument or landmark, and you pick it up on
the way back.

I don't know. How do you remember where your hotel is?

That is a potential problem, but most places can at least develop negatives well
enough. There is far less room for error than there is with prints.

Is there something about the way you have the film developed that needs to be
customized?

Putting a fresh battery in is fine. They don't wear out quickly, and they are
insensitive to x-rays.

Clothing and shoes? Food? I'm talking about the important stuff: camera
equipment and film!
