Subject: [Leica] Prodovit RT projectors and LHSA conference

Two incredible projectors just arrived here, on loan from Leica for the LHSA
Chicago meeting. I will be helping with the programs and giving the Friday
night slide presentation, so am getting to know the projectors first before
shipping them to Chicago next week.

I'm hoping to do a report on the Pradovit RT-m and RT-s for the
"Viewfinder", but just let me say here one thing - I never knew there was so
much detail in a slide! How am I going to ever go back to my Kodaks, even
with the quite decent ProTamron lenses? Yesterday I presented my Coast Guard
program to the local Merchant Marine group and the two projectors worked
perfectly.

The brilliance and contrast brought out details both in shadows and in
highlights like I have never seen before. The operations are very
straight-forward. In fact, you just connect the two projectors with a simple
cable and presto! - you have a dissolve program using the infrared remote
controller without any other setup. Hope to be able to report more later.

These machines are going to raise the slide programs at the LHSA conference
to a whole new level - you should make the conference just to see Leica
slides in these new Leica projectors.

Hope to see you there!
