Do your Leicas have meters?  If so, I assume you store them with the shutter
left uncocked, lest the battery be exhausted by an accidental pressure on the
shutter button.  (I haven't actually had this happen to me, but perhaps the bag
in which I keep the camera is extra roomy or something.)
