[Leica] RE: The New leica SLR mailing List

I'm not sure how to react to someone wanting to make a Leica "R" only list.
I think if you took a poll, there would be a handful of folks that use only
R with the majority of R users also being M users. I, for one, use both. I
personally like the LUG as it is because we discuss "LEICA", M and R. Much
of the discussion is around photography, film, enlargers, ink jet printing,
Bokeh, etc. So in order to get all of the info, one will have to subscribe
to both lists and probably have to cross post much information.

Sorry... as much as I like the R system, the photographs in all four books
that I have published were all taken exclusively with my R cameras, I will
not subscribe to yet another list. The LUG base is substantial. And even
though it goes on tyrannical rampages occasionally, it is still the best
source of "all" things LEICA.
