Strange as it sounds the 19 is my favorite lens out of the two. If I have to choose one lens for a shoot or similar situation where guidelines are applicable, I'd take the 100APO - for obvious reasons. I'd rather look through the 19. I shoot twice as many frames, generally. The results easily confirm the purchase... For a while I shot R7 19 and 160VC (portra) and was convinced my photography had taken a leap forward. Portra for architecture stuff. I have no problems even without the hood which is great but ohh.. well. Unfortunately, I'm not able to compare to the 21asph and/or 24asph as I don't own either of them. In any case I got stuck wide with that 19. The 19 and 100APO are two gems that if you've got them they are in the never-sell-that one bin. Unless the 19-35/2.8 were around - I'd sell both lenses in an instant. <<<Alexander, As far as I can tell this lense is perfect. I have owned it and used it extensively and love every minute of it. As far as tangible feedback I would say that edge sharpness is excellent, feel and weight are good except some people seem to have a harder time fine focusing due to the shortness of the barrell. After the 100 APO macro the 19 is my favorite lense>>> Gary >>> Alexander wrote: >>> Anyone here has tried the new R19 ROM? >>> If possible, could we have some feedback? >> >>> Thank you. > > -- > Warm Regards, > Alexander >>>>> - ----------------------------------------------
