I am one of those mostly lurkers who enjoys the off-topic conversations as
much as the Leica talk. I have also met Ted Grant, Eric Welsh, Tina Manley
and several other LUGGERS in person. The last time I was in Toronto (last
month) I spent the two evenings I was there photographing Yorkville at F/1
and smoking Cuban cigars.

I am an Anglo-Scandinavian male with more than a hint of hillbilly blood. I
referee ice hockey so I know how to swear in both French and Canadian. I
work for a company based in Florida and listed on the Toronto Stock
Exchange. The major shareholder in our company is a large well-known
Canadian mutual fund company. And my wife works for a Vancouver based
investment management company that is making many Canadians rich. Some of my
best friends are Canadian, and you know, I would never know it by looking at
them if it weren't for the black knee socks and shorts.
