The original poster mentioned a LTM body in another post, so perhaps his is a 
LTM 35 Summaron 3.5, in which case it does not have filter threads.  It takes 
the ubiquitous 36mm clamp-on filters which are in plentiful supply on the 
used market.  There's even a swing-out polarizer.  The LTM 35 Summaron 3.5 is 
a neat little lens, hardly larger than a collapsed 50 3.5 Elmar LTM.  The 
correct hood for this lens as well as the earlier 35 Elmar is "FOOKH", prized 
as much for the laugh quotient of the codeword as for its ability to reduce 
flare ; )
