It just shows how clueless people are.  If all it took to be a professional were
a tripod...

Anyway, that kind of warped logic can work in your favor, too, if you are
carrying a Leica.  Everyone knows that professionals would never use such a tiny
and old-fashioned-looking little camera.  If you're not carrying a Canon or
Nikon, you must not be a pro.  Of course, this is one of the advantages of a
Leica--you get professional results without looking professional.  If anyone
asks, just tell them that your grandfather left you this camera in his will or
something, and you're trying to see if it can actually take a picture.

Europeans tend to tightly regulate the kind of work people can do.
