Minilux Zoom owners are generally pleased with the image quality. I 
prefer the 40mm Minilux because it is faster (f2.4) and has more 
user control.

Instead of the Minilux Zoom, it might be worth waiting for the Leica 
C1, which will have a greater zoom range.
