Aside from the fact that the Summilux will give you better image quality at everyday apertures, there is the not-so-small issue of weight and balance. You simply cannot walk around all day with the M around your neck if you have a Noctilux on it. Don't get me wrong: I am a very happy Noctilux owner and I enjoy using it when the situation calls for it. But my everyday 50mm lens is a Summicron. If I could only one 50mm lens, it would be the Summilux.
