Jerry,
If your M6 has the low magnification viewfinder (.72),  I'd personally find it
difficult to use with the 135.  I'd look for a minty 90mm Elmarit (current
version) and use what you save on a 50 Summicron.   There are going to be times
when you want to travel with just one lens and (IMHO) that's gotta be a 50.
