Actually, my favorite focal length of all is the 50mm.  I suggested the M2,
partly because it's nicely uncluttered when using the 35, but mostly because
I go the impression that the wide-angle was what Sheldon would be using
mostly.

If I were to generalize my preferences, they would be (a) single frameline,
(b) maximum possible VF magnification for the focal length used.
