Thanks Nathan...I would have tried that one, except for the fact that a.)
It's a brand new printer with new drivers, and b.) the "helpful" folks at
Epson didn't seem to think that was the problem....As I told Dan, I'm now in
the midst of reinstalling my Windows 98 upgrade in the hopes that I simply
have a corrupted file of one sort or another...THEN I throw the f--ker out
the window when it doesn't work@@!!!

I know this type of frustration...it happens almost every time you get a new
exciting peripheral. In many cases, I have found that going to the vendor's
web
site (in this case Epson's) and downloading the latest driver will often fix
the
problem.
