" The MicroDry inks are fairly light stable (undergoing Wilhelm testing now) and are water stable, unlike inkjet images. Banding can be a problem. Color gamut is lower than any Epson inkset. They can print very well on good $10-15/ream "laser jet" paper, and other surfaces, using the underlayer (like a beryta layer in a photograph). For archival purposes, on buffered stock, its one of the best current alternatives. " Jim
