Not Galen Rowell. At least not exclusively. The N90s is notorious for shutters going out, but he uses it, and some of the other low end Nikons. The MD12 motor drive is also notoriously unreliable among pros. So they must have other reasons. Like, "everyone else does it." Which isn't true, but when they got their start, it nearly was. And why switch once committed?
