Oh so that's why it's so big - it's hollow!

This reminds me of the space left in the design in the turret of our
Bradley Fighting Vehicles  so a laser rangefinder could be retroactively
fitted. A nice concept, never actually realised.

Bit like an R8's motor drive. :)
