Hasselblad *does* make a stripped-down entry-level body and the CB lenses 
(plastic barrels and made in Japan), albeit they're not in the $250 range, 
but they at least are responding proactively rather than depending on sales 
of used equipment to bring customers to their new products.  And Rolls Royce 
*is* pretty much out of business last I heard.
