There is no need for a LCD VF in a digital camera. It is possible that you could make the worlds' first digital camera with interchangeable lens mounts, and SLR ( or RF) viewing. Cost would be low, as the camera is really a shell with virtually no moving parts (mirror in an SLR, RF in a RF camera). Lens mounts could screw into the front, allowing use of Leica RF and SLR glass, Nikon glass, or Ukranian glass. Electronic guts would be reasonably priced, by Leica standards downright low. Food for thought.... would you want a digital camera whereby any brands of camera lenses could be accomodated? Ditto a traditional film camera? Frank Filippone red735i@earthlink.net
