What's the deal? > Dear Robert, As a subscriber to the LUG, and I am certain many other photo discussion sites, you will be aware that there are a few contributors (if one can refer to them as that) whom cannot contain their 'bitchiness' and sometimes outright 'nastiness' when someone with a little knowledge comes along to share it. Witness the usual vilification of Erwin Puts and Tom Abrahamsson (both extremely learned contributors to the LUG). You need a very thick skin here -- stick around, and keep publishing! A few will always attack you.......several hundred members of the LUG were deafening in their silence (they just chose to read, listen, think, maybe learn, or simply ignore if they disagreed but didn't feel the necessity to start a 'flame' ) Best regards, Ross (still learning, and expect to for another 40-50 years or so)
