Many thanks to all of you who replied either directly or on list concerning
my computer/scanner questions. As mentioned by more than one reply, Mac and
PC offer a similar choice, with similar self admitted bias from proponents
of their preferred system to that of Leica vs Contax. The advice about RAM
and hard disc space is very valuable. The Nikon LS 2000 and the Epson 1200
are my only certainties at this point. I have up to the end of September to
get my order in.
