Hope > for you it's only that :-). I had the same problem with an M4 back in August, 1976. I can still remember the "clunk" of my 50 Summilux hitting the pavement. Fortunately it hit base down, and the only damage was a bent lens-mount flange. My repairman at the time machined it so it would fit again, and I carried on shooting with no problems. In the afterlife I'm going to hunt down the bean-counter who recommended removing that button guard, and I'm gonna have a little chat with him... Paul Chefurka
