That snarl of cables is I think unavoidable what with the need to hook up your scanner, drives, printers, etc. If you just had to simplify maybe an iMac would work if you have USB peripherals now (I suspect not so you might have to buy that stuff again). The larger the monitor, the easier your work. Anyway I think just puttin up with the complexity is the way to go. I have heard ood things about the Silicon Graphics flat panels but I think they cost about as much or more than your current entire system. Henry
