Richard-
I was given a VALOY, the 'I' I suppose since it looked REALLY old!, and the
laminated board was delaminating!
I went to a pattern maker's shop, where they make patterns for foundry
castings, and bought a piece of birch pattern makers' plywood, and made my
own. The stuff is one inch thick, 17 plys, and no voids. You can drill and
machine it; if you are not handy with tools, maybe you know someone who is!
Cost me about $15 total.
