Its a great lens -- and perfectly capable for being used for silly
photographs (like handheld at 15th second on Neopan 1600 film at midnight
outside -- see
http://www.woodleyside.co.uk/images/leica/blurredmen_small.jpg on my
website)

As a "holiday" lens where weight and high value matters a lot, its an ideal
lens.

Subject: [Leica] The "Gee-Whiz" Lens

Hi -

I had to drop off the list about eight months ago. Just returned, so
I haven't been able to catch the drift of many conversations relating
to lens quality.

However, the "Cover The Red Dot With Black Tape" thread is *still*
going < huge grin>

My question: Can any of you who have bought and used the 25-35-50 f
4.0 please tell me what you think of its utility and quality?

TIA

George
