Dr. Blacktape Wants To Make Sure He Understands This Properly...

A group of otherwise sane, rational individuals is going to pay approximate
$2200 EXTRA for an M6TTL because it is painted black and has a brass top
plate under the paint - oh, and it has something "special" engraved in said
top plate? And it will enable its owners to take better pictures?

And it's a "collectible," which means that if it's ever used, and therefore
picks up scratches or rub marks in said black paint - which is what happens
to painted cameras - it no longer has any real value as a collectible?

Why not collect Elvis plates from the Franklin Mint, and USE Leicas to take
photos?
