I think the little numbers to which you refer are indeed a code for the
actual focal length of the lens, but it is easy to work out:

I think your new 50 is actually a 52.2mm lens and your older
Summilux is a 51.6mm lens.

My Hektor 135 has a 50 "code" so I think it is exactly 135mm....
My Summicron doesn't have a number so I don't know what it is...

But I think you just knock off the last digit and substitute the two-digit code.

Now that I said it was easy, I probably got it wrong.

It could be the type of  Phlogiston that your lens requires.
