They were backed up and I got to talking with the guy one behind me. He was saying he didn't like the new PM5 45 degree meter finder because he couldn't figure out incorporating EV's into his mode of thinking. Said it would inhibit his bracketing. I then of course go into a song and dance about the joys of EV use. About how my first Voigtlander as a 13 year old kid had an EV system and pointed out the window to the sunny area being EV 18 and the shadow being EV 15 so you could just shoot it at 16.5 with negative film. And about how I love going out with my little crank on my Hasselblad and take EV readings and how convenient and nostalgic that is for me. And about how my Gossen Luna pro Digital has an EV mode. But no EV's on the Leica so there you go. You can't have everything. Mark Rabiner
