Be carefull so that the powerstrip does not protrude out the shorter cap (the 28mm), otherwise it will be visible and gather dust. You may want to try this with the lens on the caps so that they align. The result `double-cap' is *very* strong but removable (in case you want to undo the operation --- I did that a few times!). The advantage of the double-caps is that you don't have to for a the bottom cap inside a bag: there's always a lens attached to it! BTW, this idea was suggested to me by a friend of mine how owns and uses a Leica M. He said Leica actually sells the special double caps... - -- Pedro Vasconcelos.
