I understand that the "Adorama" lenses are marketed under several names and might be from a company called "BOWER". Add to this the new Voigtlander (obviously japanese or korean?--"cosina"???) lenses.... here's my question...are these lenses in quality metal focusing mounts, or some form of "chromed" or "anodized" plastic, like so many of our late, junky SLR lenses, even from "top" manufacturers..... I apologize for the ignorance, but I don't get to major cities/camera shows to handle the 'real thing'.....I am considering buying a 21mm, of some aftermarket make, but I don't want a plastic piece of crap (I.E>, I know it ain't Leitz, but is it at least the quality of canon or nikkor RF?) BTW< all the info I've read about the OPTICAL performance of these lenses is fine with me....slightly less than Leica quality, for a rarely used "effect" lens, is OK....I'm mainly concerned about the mechanical/material quality.
