Reminds me of some of the material we had to study in art school. One guy specialized in digging holes with earth moving equipment and calling it art; and these were just plain, run-of-the-mill, straight sided holes. Also, not to mention performance art which can include self mutilation. One of my instructors said art is anything we touch as "artists" (note the distinction between touching and creating). He loved my project; I gathered up 30 bags of leaves, trudged up to the top of an 18 story building with them, leaned out a window and burned tons film as they were dumped off the top floor (almost got arrested for it). I thought it was a joke, but he gave me an A for the piece. /Mitch
