The universe has arranged for all interesting moments to occur at the end of someone's roll of film (usually mine). This guarantees that we'll be unable to record those moments as we frantically rewind, drop the old roll, and misload the new one. A second body with the SAME FILM gives you something to use after the first runs out. A second body can also reduce the number of lens changes when both bodies are loaded. This significantly increases the number of pictures that I'm able to take, but it doesn't seem to guarantee that they will be good... A second body loaded with a different film helps too, but it also increases the number of lens changes and guarantees that you'll expose some film improperly (or start to mistrust your meter) when you forget which body you're using. Two body Procedure: You have the right film, but you need to change lenses because the other body always has your favorite lens. You'll have to take it off that body and put it on the body you're using. That leaves the second body without a lens, so you stick your original lens on it. When you switch to the other film, you repeat the process since your favorite lens is once again on the wrong body. Fortunately you can use the time you save by not changing film to practice juggling. You can also use the money you save on film to help repair the occasional lens or body you drop. Hope this helps, Mike - ---------- >Does a second body significantly increase the number of good pictures?
