Oh YEAH BABY!!!!!
I'd like to introduce you Dr. Murphy..... he will be coming along for the trip!
When I went to Australia (didn't have Leica's then!) Brought:
Canon A2
Olympus XA (Best inexpensive travel camera!!)
Fuji GS645s (Best Med format travel camera)
Canon AE-1 (the wife's)
Holga (yeah, I know!)

Never had a problem with ANY of them! But, you can bet if I brought only
ONE of ANY of them- it  would've gone down faster than a (fill in your own
analogy, mine would get me in trouble!)   :)
