One of the primary reasons I still use the Leica is the range of lenses.  
Without it I might very well carry a fixed-lens camera like a Hexar, 28/35Ti, 
T2, GR1, maybe even a Rollei 35 or some 60's rangefinder with a decent 50mm 
like the Konica Auto S2/S1.6 or Canonet QL1.7.  In the case of the latter 
two, I'd get autoexposure option and flash sync to 1/500 to boot.
