Anyway, my problem: I recently bought an R3 from ebay to have as another back up body. I also have an old R3, that old that I can't remember when I last used it. Things have changed a lot since I got so used to using my R7s and R8s. Both the R3s (which I placed new batteries in) do not show any movement in the viewfinder. That is, the needle stays in the bottom, no matter what I do. it would be strange If both my R3s meters died. Does anyone remember how to "turn on" the meter of the R3? How Can I test If the cameras are using the battery? I tripled check to make sure I put the batteries correctly, and the metal tab in the battery compartment is sticking out enough to make contact. Thank you all in advance for your help! Regards, Alexander
