There has been quite a bit of discussion on other Pro photog lists.

basically, it seems Yahoo are going for a complete grab of rights from
anyone who has images on Geocities (a lot of photographers and artists).
And, when they unilaterally changed the agreement, they won't allow you to
get onto your site to modify it or remove your images, without accepting the
agreement.

Most likely totally illegal, especially in terms of copyright law, but the
possession is 9/10's of the law!

Most users seem pretty mad about this.
