The lens must be set on f22 or you can not mount the lens on the tube.  I am
not sure the tube aperture ring has to be set at f22.  Once the lens is
mounted on the tube, the lens works at any aperture you set on the tube
aperture ring.  The lens aperture ring can not be used since it is covered
by a skirt on the tube.
