If you are worried, may I suggest an Op-Tech padded X-ray pouch. It also
serves well to keep the film cool in hot temperatures.

Subject: [Leica] Leica - film stability

I am off on two trips this summer of 1-2 weeks where I
will not be able to refrigerate film, either before or
after shooting. While I like the various Ektachromes
(100S, 100SW and 100VS), I am concerned with
deterioration of "professional" film, especially if it
is neither developed nor refrigerated for a week or
more after it is shot. Am I being too careful or
should I use the two "consumer" versions of Ektachrome
on these trips?? Also, can anyone recommend a Fuji
chrome film faster than Velvia, which I do use quite a
bit, (but have the same reservations about storage).

Thanks,

Steve
