Subject: [Leica] Finally, the perfect bag for a small Leica system

LUG,

I think I have found a very good bag for a small Leica M6 system
(M6+34+50+90+film+etc). It is small, thin, strong, flexible, expensive :-),
and can be part of a larger system. The color is black and it does not
scream steal me. No leather or buckles and it is Made in the USA (I know, I
know, but where I am from this is way more exotic than Made in Italy or
France or the UK, sorry).

The bag is called Kinesis E512 Multi lens pouch:

Of course, it is originally intended to be used as a part of the Kinesis
belt system, but it works very well by itself. It can also be threaded onto
any belt you may have (may I suggest an expensive leatherbelt Made in
Italy?). My setup is that I have a Kinesis "Black Belt" (!), a couple of
these bags (and a few other Kinesis items), and I hook up the Leica bag to
the belt when needed and the Nikon bag(s) when they are needed. Or
everything when I go ballistic. Right now I use the bag by itself with the
_optional_ shoulder strap.

The only critisicm (so far) I have of the E512 is that when used alone as as
a BAG the bottom could have been a little stiffer (However, I guess most
will find it good enough). As a part of a belt system the bottom is just
fine as it is.

The other bag I have found that works really well for a small M6 system is
Tenbas P111 (I think it is). This one is a bit larger than the Kinesis bag
with other priorities. (Oh, by the way, the Tenba bag was suggested to me by
Tore Larsen, another LUG member. He was right as he usually is.)
