From a usually reliable source: The new M will have truly revolutionary TTL
electronics that will make follow the eyeball AF seem like the model T.
The new design will judge the quality of the picture before the shutter can
be released. The level of quality will be user adjustable by a dial on the
back, not unlike the asa dial. Settings will range from (these are
tentative) "your wasting film again" through "that's a wonderful picture,
you took that?" to the top setting, "absolute museum quality" In the case
of the latter an internal chip will up link directly to the Getty
purchasing department, the strap is the antenna. In all other respects it
will appear exactly like a late M3. It will be offered with a traditional
pressure plate or with a non ionizing force field to hold film flat, the
force field version will be lighter, but much larger.

Anyone have a recommendation on where to send a CLE to be cla'd in the
states?
