With product liability suits at an all-time high, the government requires some bizarre notices. Just yesterday, My wife and I were shopping for some supplies for a party, and I noticed a box of decorative votive candles... the box had one whole side devoted to 'safe' lighting instructions. I told her that when we have to depend on a government that cannot tell the Chinese Embassy from a parking lot to tell us how to light a candle- then we're in BIG trouble 'in deep doo-doo' is what I actually said!) I am surprised that Leica has not been forced to include two or three pages of safety instructions with each camera and lens! ( We laughed when the new SFA processor arrived at one of our labs- Fuji had a notice sticker on the paper magazine that 'Dropping on foot may cause severe impact injury!'- as if we needed to told!)
