for what it's worth, the leica pamphlet/flyer heralding the m6 hm (dated
2/98) contains a photo (most likely a publicity shot) of salgado holding a
silver m6 with what appears to be a black summicron 2/35. oddly enough, the
accompanying blurb quotes him as saying that he frequently uses the
summicron m 2/50 in his work. i've looked for technical info in his books,
but have yet to find anything. maybe someone knows of an interview in which
he talks about his equipment...
