I really can't comment on your M6 problem... It seems to me that if the
shutter is working, then you are no less capable of getting your shot than
by using the Contax.
What bothers me is the blighter referring to your M2 as a "Russian Clunker";
sounds like a dangerous reactionary who should be reported to the
authorities with all possible haste!  :o}~
