It is new and readily available from Leica. They sent it to me by mistake, I wanted the item with the part number above it. I think that it is a useless piece of plastic. It is used to attach two M lenses, It is like a bayonet base cap with two female parts - lens "butt" against each other. If you want it I would send it by Insured US mail and add the exact shipping. Could be 8-10 USD.
