I do a lot of 1/60th second pan shots for the boating clients and I'm shooting at f/16 with Velvia. The polarizer increases contrast, but does allow me to shoot a two stops down (for better sharpness). I'd love to have a VS or Velvia at 25ASA. With VS I will either have to use a neutral density filter and or polarizer to do the pan blurr stuff that is a staple of the jobs.
