Subject: Re: [Leica] M-6 Scratches on Pressure Plate

Far be it from me to counsel caution on this topic, but I'd recommend
running another test first.

Some negative sleeves scratch film. To eliminate this variable, try running
a roll through the
Leica, then (rather than processing it) visually inspecting the undeveloped
film with a desk lamp held at an angle to the film. You'll need to closely
inspect it, angling the
film this way and that. If it's scratched, the scratches will catch the
light.

Incidentally, anyone know if M6 pressure plates are interchangeable with
earlier M series?
