The pictures are all images of details and atmospheres in London, mainly the east end, that have accumulated as a result of carrying a camera every day and cycling around. Not 'out shooting' necessarily, but with an eye open for curiousities. All black and white. About a third of it is recent, a year old or less, made with the Leica. Portals and Spirits photographs by Alexander Brattell Upstairs at the Clerks House 118 Shoreditch High St London E1 15th April - 23 May 1999 open 12-5pm every day admission free (little old house by the church at the North end of Shoreditch High St) The preview is on Wednesday 14th, 6-8pm, please come along if you can.
