Subject: RE: [Leica] Leica Adaptor?

Thanks for the info...its nice to know what the junque in the miscellaneous
box really is used for....

I am not being contensius (sp?) but maybe a bit dumb..... if the Leicaflex
has mounted on it a Visoflex lens, the lenses inherently have NO metering
cams, gadgets, or otherwise way to convey its set aperture other than be AT
that aperture, why would a later (or any ) Leicaflex have a metering issue?
What options are limited? There are no options... the lens is stopped down
for metering, isn't it? The cameras all have a stopped down mode for
metering, don't they?

 Leica adaptor marked 14127 F
>It looks like a Leica M lens to R body adaptor....

From Marc Small:

It adapts Viso lenses to the original Leicaflex. It can be used on the
later cameras, but metering options will be limited.
